Main Poster Design:

This is one of the poster designs I have been working on for the last few weeks. I was asked last by my team leader to find good quality images of our sponsors logos. Our sponsors being 'High Chelmer Shopping Center' and 'Anglia Rusking University'.

Below is the poster design complete with sponsors and sponsor logos.

  1. Well done Richard! Really pleased with the progress in your personal development and very happy to see how much effort you have put in your CV.
I'm also really happy to see how well the whole idea of the pencil ended up. Really striking image and certainly, very attractive poster. The only detail I want you to double check with your team leader is related to typography. Check what typo style your team is going to use for flyers, invitations, etc. and be sure to use it in your poster (for text like: "End of Year Show, Anglia Ruskin Universtiy", etc.). This will give unity to all your exhibition branding. Be sure also, to leave space for future sponsorship and information that might be added to the poster. Think ahead and you will save yourself a lot of time and effort. Apart from that, I think your poster works great with concept, branding and aesthetics. Keep up with the hard work!

  2. This poster design is good Richard, however, make sure the text you use is Century Gothic to conform with the rest of the graphic team's work.

  3. Hi Richard,

Please try to concentrate this week in finishing your business card and applying the graphics you decided to use to your CV. Once you finish that, you can start thinking about your portfolio. Remember that I need to see the progress in your blog. Be sure to include ideas and images of how you would like to bind your portfolio, materials you would use (or like to use), projects you will include (these ones are: business card, CV and 4 or 5 previous projects you would like to include). For each of them you will need to add:
    1. Name of the project
    2. Aim of the project
    3. Description of the project (inspiration, programs you used, etc.)

As you can see, it's quite a lot of work. That's the reason why I need you to concentrate in finishing CV and business card. Then you will have time to think about your portfolio only. I'm sure you can do it so, eventhough it sounds a little bit daunting, don't get disencouraged. Last class I saw your work related to business card and you're almost there!
Take care and see you in class.
